皆さん、こんにちは!遅いので、あけましておめでとうございます!今年もJAKWaveをよろしくお願い致します!

[Minna-san, konnichiwa! Osoinode, akemashite omedetou gozaimasu! Kotoshi mo JAKWave wo yoroshiku onegaiitashimasu!]

Hi, everyone! Although it’s late, happy new year! Please look favorably on JAKWave again this year too!

じゃ、始めたいと思います! [Jya, hajimetai to omoimasu!] Let’s start! Today, we’ll look at 5 useful verbs. After all, you can’t put together a real conversation with just nouns! These are all in dictionary form, which as you may have guessed from the name is the one you can find if you look in a dictionary. It’s also the easiest way to conjugate them, which is always helpful. If you’d like to know about other verb forms, then click here for masu-form, and here for te-form!

食べる [taberu] – To eat

飲む [nomu] – To drink

する [suru] – To do

来る [kuru] – To come

分かる [wakaru] – To understand

Well, that’s our WOW for now!

Don’t forget, we want to know what you Wave Riders would like to learn! Do you want more verbs, more grammar, or more slang phrases? Please leave your suggestions and requests down below in the comments, or on our official Facebook page.
